I am an English born Artist now living in Adelaide.
I moved to Adelaide with my husband and four sons in 2006.
Once all my sons had spead their wings and flown the nest I had a huge gap in my life and knew I needed to find myself again.
I loved painting when at school and was planning on a bright artistic future but put my love of art on hold whilst we raised our family and gave them every opportunity to shine.
Spare bedrooms mean that I now have my own studio in our home and can be found in there in the evenings and at weekends; playing, mixing, creating and rediscovering me.
My inspiration comes from the beautiful country we came from and also this amazing place we now call home.
The ocean, sunsets, sunrises, nature, water, fire.
I am intrigued by the movement of the paint. I currently use acrylic paints and pouring mediums and utilise all sorts of methods for moving the paints around the canvas.
I began painting again in early 2019 and look forward to the future and sharing my art with the world! |
