ARTIST NOTES: There's something about watching the sunset that makes me reflect back on my life and feel grateful for what I have. I appreciate everything..... the good, the not so good. I feel content and excited for the future. I have attempted to capture these feelings in this mixed media abstract sunset painting. It would be a great addition to your home, office or collection to add a sense of calm. This artwork is painted on stretched canvas, with a painted timber frame, ready to hang, with hanging wire on the back. I have coated it with 2 layers of good quality varnish to protect its surface. Its initialled on the front and signed on the back.

ARTIST BIO I love to create art with emotion and texture. I use lots of different materials when working, such as craft papers, fabrics, acrylic paints, watercolour paints, pencils, pastels cardboard and anything else I feel will work. While I do use brushes in some of my art I prefer to use unconventional implements, such as pieces of cardboard, paper, my fingers, knives, twigs, plastic sheets and anything else that I can get my hands on. I have been away from the art scene for a few years due to personal reasons but now I have a wonderful studio in adelaide, SA and I like nothing better than experimenting and creating art.
