Hello My Name is Ray I have been in the building trade for the passed 45 years as a painter and now retired , 3 years ago I bought  a piece  of art made from Gal Steel it was a goat with a snake attatched a lisard a spider and some leaves , there was a place for a kookaburra to be attatched and the artist was to make the kookaburra at a later date for me however he said after 3 attempts he was unable to do so .

I put the Goat into my garden and after 1 year I decided to try and make the kookaburra myself using aluminium ,the end result was very good and I was then kooked on art I love working with aluminium , after I have made my peice of art I get it powdercoated and sometimes add other colors and eyeballs to bring the art alive ,I find it so satisfying bring art to life.

I allready had most of the welding gear and other tools from a past invention.

I am not tied to any form of art what ever pop into my head or one of the kids might say they love a cartoon character I will get inspired and make it .  I live very close to resorts and a lot of people are allways walking past with their children and I can see they get a lot of enjoyment from the art on display in my front yard.  I have done 3 peices of art on commission .
